Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces in batches for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside to rest.
  4. Melt butter in the same skillet. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add Parmesan cheese gradually until smooth. Add pasta water if needed.
  5. Return cooked rigatoni and steak to the skillet. Toss gently to coat. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For added richness, mix in cream cheese or smoked cheddar. Adjust Cajun seasoning to preferred spice level.
