Scale
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free option)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together all the marinade ingredients until well combined.
  2. Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over the chicken.
  3. Seal or cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours for deeper flavor.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and cook as desired — grill, bake, or sauté until fully cooked through.
  5. Discard used marinade. Serve chicken hot and enjoy!
