  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic and sauté 3–4 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stir, and slowly pour in beef broth to avoid lumps.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, then bring to a simmer and cook 5 minutes to thicken.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until creamy and combined.
  7. Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes
