  • 227 g cream cheese, softened
  • 227 g sour cream
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp ranch seasoning
  • 1 jar pizza sauce 14 oz
  • 454 g chicken or turkey Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 57 g beef or turkey pepperoni, sliced mini or regular size, cut small if needed

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven: Heat to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease an 11-inch pie dish or 9×9 baking dish.
  2. Make the creamy base: In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, oregano, garlic powder, and ranch seasoning. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  3. Layer the dip: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom of the baking dish. Spoon the pizza sauce evenly on top. Add a layer of the cooked chicken or turkey sausage over the sauce.
  4. Add cheese and toppings: Sprinkle a generous layer of mozzarella cheese. Scatter beef or turkey pepperoni evenly across the surface.
  5. Bake: Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and slightly golden around the edges.
  6. Serve: Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with toasted baguette slices, garlic bread, or pita chips for dipping.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the creamy base or sprinkle on top before baking.
