Ingredients
  

Cake
  • 432 g Red Velvet Cake Mix one box
  • 295 ml water as listed on cake box
  • 3 units eggs as listed on cake box
  • 120 ml vegetable oil as listed on cake box
Frosting and Coating
  • 454 g cream cheese frosting one package or homemade
  • 454 g white chocolate candy coating or almond bark
  • 15 units Red Candy Melts optional for decoration

Method
 

  1. Bake the cake according to directions on the package.
  2. Let it cool completely. You can place it in the freezer for faster cooling.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a bowl using your hands.
  4. Stir in the frosting into the crumbled cake, about ½ cup at a time, until it holds together.
  5. Roll the mixture into balls or discs and place them on a baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the white chocolate candy coating according to package directions.
  7. Dip each cake bite into the melted coating, ensuring even coverage. Place on wax paper to set.
  8. Let the bites set up, then optionally drizzle with melted red candy melts.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles before the coating hardens, if desired.
